Graduate students connect with each other in many ways, and Notre Dame offers several housing options specific to your needs. The CSLC will work to locate housing for you, and to help you obtain the supplies necessary for residential living.
In the past, the CSLC has rented on-campus apartments for the FLTAs, who will share the living space with each other. The potential housing options are listed below.
Located on the Notre Dame capus, Fischer Graduate Residence apartments are furnished to house four students each. Each apartment has its own bathroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room. Located on the northeast side of campus next to the Notre Dame Wellness Center and Stepan Center, Fischer Graduate Residences are a collection of apartment buildings which mostly house graduate students.
The Landings at Notre Dame is a University-related complex located within walking distance of the core of campus. The Landings at Notre Dame features whole apartment leases (not by the bedroom) featuring one, two and three bedroom apartments with in-unit washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchens, an open layout, on-site parking and shuttle service available to campus. The walkable community is in close proximity to the Notre Dame Family Resource Center and much more.
Located just off-campus, Overlook at Notre Dame is a University-related community specifically designed for graduate and professional students and members of the university's research community. Located directly adjacent to the eastern edge of campus, the Overlook at Notre Dame offers studio and one-bedroom apartments.
Because the FLTAs will be sharing living space with each other, it is important to follow guidelines for communal living. The rules for living together are listed below. Remember to reach out to the CSLC staff if you have any questions or concerns about your housing situation.
