One of the most useful resources for you as a student and as an FLTA will be insideND. This is a valuable resource that you will use frequently during your time at ND, as it provides campus resources, news, and links in one convenient site. It is where you will begin when searching for and registering for courses. You can explore before you have your login information but once your login information (email address and password) and Okta have been set up, you can start using many of the links on this site.
Some useful sites include:
Class Search - you can begin to search for classes that you may want to register for in the Fall and Spring semesters. The Registrar offers information on how to register for classes, including a step-by-step guide on how to register for classes at Notre Dame. More information about registering for classes and Roll Call can be found on the Registering for Classes page of this website.
Zoom - Zoom is the video conferencing tool that is used by Notre Dame for many workshops, events, and meetings that are not held in person. If you are not familiar with Zoom, you can reach out to the Instructional Designer in the CSLC for training on how to install Zoom, schedule meetings, and add to your Google Calendar.
Student Affairs - This is a collection of sites that can help you with different areas of being a student at Notre Dame, including fitness, the LaFortune Student Center, and Campus Ministry.
There are many opportunities to participate in social events, clubs, and organizations at Notre Dame. In order to fully learn about American culture and share your own culture with others, you are encouraged to reach out and become active in sponsored activities, meetings, and events. Following are some resources for you to explore these opportunities.
The Student Activities Office (SAO) provides information about many activities sponsored across the Notre Dame campus and beyond. One very useful tool on the site is the Events Page. You can subscribe to events and add them to your Google calendar. Never miss an opportunity to meet other members of the Notre Dame community!
The Office of Public Affairs and Communication manages the Notre Dame Events calendar. Although not all events may be listed in this calendar, the majority of departments and colleges do add their events to this master calendar. Check this calendar frequently to see what types of workshops, lectures, and sponsored activities are occurring each week. There is also information about athletic events
