Preparing to teach in a U.S. language classroom is the first step in your journey, and there are lots of resources, workshops and training sessions that you can take to expand your pedagogical knowledge. We also emphasize integrating technology into your teaching practice. Here are some resources for you to review. We encourage you to register for workshops and training sessions as soon as you can in order to learn, network with others in the Notre Dame community, and learn more about the culture of the United States classroom.
For many of the learning opportunities provided by Notre Dame, you will need your netID to register (i.e., lastname1@nd.edu). Other resources include past events that allow you to watch the seminar at a later date and explore the resources provided.
CSLC Multipurpose Room (MPR) - The CSLC has a multipurpose room that some of you will be using to teach. The room is equipped with a monitor, cameras, an interactive projection screen, and more. To receive training on the use of the MPR, contact the CSLC Instructional Designer.
