As an FLTA, you will apply as a non-degree seeking student. This category is for students who take courses at Notre Dame without admission to a degree program. You will be able to take courses in any graduate department, subject to approval by the department.
Step One: Create an Account
Create an account following the instructions for first-time users. Use your preferred personal email account for this step.
A temporary pin will be sent to your email account with an Activate Account link.
After entering the temporary pin, you will be prompted to create a new password.
Step Two: Complete the Application
NOTE: You will need to upload your "Fulbright Terms of Appointment and Special Instructions". You will NOT need to submit recommendation letters, transcripts, a statement of intent, a curriculum vitae/resume, or a writing sample to complete your application.
Log into https://gradconnect.nd.edu/apply/
Click "Start New Application"
Choose the application type by selecting the Fall semester
When prompted, "Open Application"

Test Scores
If you have TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo test scores, upload them
If not, upload documentation of English proficiency from Fulbright

Under Financial Aid, select "Other Aid Award Letter" and upload (step 9)
Uploads
You will upload your signed "Fulbright Terms of Appointment and Special Instructions" to two places:
Under “Statement of Intent”
Under "Resume or Curriculum Vitae"
Application Fee
Select "Yes" when it asks whether "you will be paying your application fee with a waiver" (at the bottom of the "Additional Information" page).
Use the code FULB64 as a fee waiver code.
Step Three: Notifications
Notify the CSLC (Mary) once you have completed and submitted your application. See your Task Checklist for the correct contact information.

Step One: Offer Letter Acceptance
Once your application is submitted, it will go up for a process of approval. Once the Graduate School has accepted you they will send an offer of admission. Accept the offer and then fill out the enrollment form linked in the offer letter.
Step Two: Send NDID Number to CSLC
After accepting your offer, you will receive an email with your NDID number. This is your university identification number; it will begin with a 9. As soon as you receive this number, please email it to your contact in the CSLC. This information is found in the FLTA Checklist.
