In order to assist you as you become a teacher, a self-guided course has been prepared to introduce you to topics like strategies for teachiing, planning, using instructional aids and more. This brief course will provide you with a quick and straightforward reference to teaching strategies and techniques.

As an FLTA, you make a significant contribution to Notre Dame and to the students who will take your classes, participate in your cultural conversations, and receive tutoring from you. If you have taught before, you may find that student expectations in higher education in the United States may be different. This course will guide you in understanding some of the language and cultural differences that you may encounter, and give you a foundation for learning more as the school year progresses.

You will receive an email from the CSLC Instructional Designer with information on accessing the course. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate in college teaching.
