A study of convergence zones in South America: driving mechanisms and their decadal variability
The aim of my PhD project is to investigate the physical mechanisms of convergence zones in South America. Currently I am developing an objective criterion based on the flow deformation for detecting convergence zones in reanalysis and model data.
