Why do you do what you do?
Many of the impacts of climate change are becoming manifest through extreme weather events, such as different kinds of storms or persistent circulation anomalies like atmospheric blocking. I am trying to understand what makes some events more impactful than others and what is needed to adequately represent them in climate simulations.
