Licensing Requirements
The Nazareth University Creative Arts Therapy program is designed to meet the New York Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) requirements. If students are planning to obtain licensure in another state, they are responsible to determine the requirements needed for that state’s licensure.
The Nazareth CAT master’s programs are licensure-qualifying programs in New York State for the LCAT. The following figure depicts the general process to obtain a New York State LCAT.
