Completion of the TCIA course and the marks I obtained. The TCIA course was a substitute for our teaching practice and observation in our second year. We couldn`t go out to school because of the pandemic.

Ekstra training sessions
Picture of the robots we would work with and code. This was a very exiting class that I enjoyed attending, mostly because of the knowledge I gained by attending. I learned how to code; Micro:bit, Lego boost, cute bot, etc. We learned about blockcoding and I took alot away from this class.
What is plugged and unplugged coding explained. Plugged coding is done with the use of technology, such as programs, computers, etc. Unplugged coding is done without technology, with the use of everyday materials, such as games, paper, cardboard, etc.
What is computational thinking and why is it important? Computational thinking is breaking up a complex problem into smaller easier to solve pieces. The pieces is easier to understand and anyone/anything can understand the instructions that comes from these smaller pieces.
We did four tasks. The first task was to draw lines according to a feeling you got from a certain song. The second task was to create apples that expressed emotions and personalities. The third task was a texture task, where we had to fine different textures within our homes. The fourth task was creating an animal out of recycled materials.
This is a lesson plan on weather the objectives of this lesson is for my learners to be able to identify the weather outside and be able to adjust the weather wheel accordingly, as well as to be able to create a weather wheel of their own with the help of an adult.
This assignment was answering eight questions about teaching history in the foundation phase. There is multiple sub sections. Some of the questions were: The historian Peter Stearns believes that history in schools is essential to the individual and to society. Give 6 reasons why he believes children should study history? How would you trigger the curiosity of the young historians in your classroom, at school in general, etc.
History lesson plan, integrated with music and drama. The objectives of the lesson is for the learners to learn what immediate and extended family is, designing a family tree and seeing the connections between family member and being part of a role play and interpreting different characters and improvising as those characters.
This assignment is a lesson plan on water. Learners must identify where water is used in their daily lives, know how water is wasted, how to store clean water and how to save water. these objectives will be achieved by making use of videos, classroom discussions and worksheets.
This assignment, is about safe and unsafe drinking water and how to purify water to make it safe. Full scientific method explained. The full scientific method includes: aim, hypothesis, precautions, variables, apparatus and method. Including the scientific process skills. The scientific process skills include: observing, inferring, measuring, communicating, classifying, predicting, controlling variables, defining operationally, hypothesising, interpreting data, experimenting and formulating models.
In this assignment, question one explains the importance of articulation, dynamics, duration, harmony, meter, pitch, rhythm, structure, texture, tempo and tone color in music. Question two gives examples of what music is, music is movement, music is fun and music is something you do and explains each one thoroughly.
In this puppet show I sing "if you.....and you know it" using Astrid and James. This is an activity that will help learners express their emotions, by doing what the puppets ask or not doing what the puppets ask based on their emotions. This is a very interactive activity.
