Teaching practice , lesson plans and evaluation form.
The main theme in this lesson plan is time. I start this lesson with a mental math counting activity. I then explain a time worksheet to the learners and then I take groups on the mat. I take a total of four groups on the mat. As conclusion the learners got clocks printed on colored paper and got to make their own paper clock.

This lesson was about antonyms. I integrated the life skills topic of the week (transport) into the lesson. The learners got a story and they had to search for the opposites in the story. I used the learners previous knowledge of synonyms to explain antonyms. I then had the learners identify the opposites. I then had four groups on the mat for varies activities and rotated the learners for each activity.

In this lesson I did the three different soil types with the learners. I started the lesson by asking the learners questions about the different soil types they know of and had a discussion with the learners. We discussed the three different soil types as well as the importance of composting and the role it plays for our soil. I then had stations set up and the learners were able to feel each soil type. We then visited the school`s compost hole and I allowed the learners to throw in compostable items we collected during the week. We then went back to class and finished the work in the DBE workbook.
