Videos to show how I would teach a lesson.
Home video of me presenting a lesson in Language. The whole group will be doing animal sounds and animal names, for example I say cow and the learners have to say "moo" and vice versa. Then there will be two groups that work at their tables doing worksheets and the third group will be the focus group and they will be doing flashcards on the mat.
Home video of me presenting a lesson in Mathematics. For the whole group activity the learners will be picking a number from a bowl and they then have to form the number(6), the name(six) and the amount of dots(6 dots) that represent the number using prestick/clay. I used 6 as an example in the video. The learners will then be working in their small groups.
Life Skills
In this puppet show I sing "if you.....and you know it" using Astrid and James. This is an activity that will help learners express their emotions, by doing what the puppets ask or not doing what the puppets ask based on their emotions. This is a very interactive activity.

Reflection on 2020
2020, has been a tough year. We had an pandemic on our hands, we had quarantine, we had to learn to wear masks and to sanitize, we had to refrain from physical contact. Overall it was quite an eventful year. Some lost their loved ones, their jobs, others found love online or rebuild physical connections with the ones they were quarantined with.
The year taught us a lot, mostly that you are stronger than you think and you can make it through anything with a bit of resilience. We got through our first year at University, with a pandemic. For the people still holding on, I think we deserve a round of applause.
