How is travel handled when needed for Training?

After registering to attend a scheduled ResponsiveEd training event, our Travel Coordinator will send confirmations to you via email if you requested a flight or rental car. Hotel accommodations are typically included as part of your final confirmation email regarding the event. The Hotel Name, Address and Phone number as well as a rooming list that shows check-in/out dates for each person attending that specific event will be included (please be sure to double check those dates to prevent errors at check-in or no show billing.

Airport Transportation: In order to provide high touch customer service to our Training attendees, we coordinate airport pick-up for those flying in for an event at the Home Office. Prior to your trip, we will provide a calendar invitation that includes the name and cell phone number for your group so that you can coordinate an Uber or Lyft together. You may be responsible for the transportation fee from the airport to the hotel, this expense will be eligible for reimbursement.
After training is concluded, the training team will typically use Uber to shuttle attendees back to the airport in groups. If you are traveling to another city/location, please use Uber or another reasonably priced option to get to your final destination. Any out of pocket transportation costs you incur can be submitted for reimbursement on your expense report after your trip.
When traveling to attend training, we try to find a suitable hotel near the Home Office that will provide a complimentary hot breakfast. For full day training events, lunch is generally provided during the event. If you are responsible for your meals, the amount that is reimbursable while traveling is as follows:
$14 for breakfast, $16 for lunch and $25 for dinner (that is the maximum allowed, including tip).
Meal gratuities in excess of 20% will not be reimbursed.

Note: Do NOT pay for State hotel taxes on lodging in Texas.
How do I reserve Training Space at the Home Office?
Please contact any of us on the Training Team for assistance securing space in one of the Training Rooms we have available. You can also submit your request via email to Training@ResponsiveEd.com for review / reply. All of the training space used at the Home Office is available for you to book using your Google Calendar. Using the “Rooms” tab on your calendar invitation, look for Corporate and then rooms A, B, C or D. The default setting is typically set to only show available rooms. A member of the training team will review the request and alert you if there are conflicts with your request.
How are training certificates distributed for training completed at ResponsiveEd?
Training certificates earned for Professional Development completed with ResponsiveEd prior to summer 2022 are posted to the training calendar (shown above). Certificates are located on the ResponsiveEd Learning Academy for any training conducted during 2022 through present. It is your responsibility to keep track of all certificates earned for your records. Certificates on the Learning Academy can be found in each users 'Learning Dashboard' section. In the event you are unable to find a certificate from a past event, please reach out to us via email at LearningAcademy@ResponsiveEd.com and provide the following information:

Email address
Name of the session you attended
Approximate date of completion for the session (e.g. September 2019)
How can participants receive certificates for a training conducted on Campus or without assistance from the Home Office Training Team?
