ResponsiveEd does not make monetary donations. ResponsiveEd does not order arrangements for Get Well, Grandparents, Siblings, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends as that is against policy. The only exception is if the Grandparent raised the employee as a parent.
If you wish to take up a donation within your campus/department to order your own arrangement or donate money in lieu of flowers, you are free to do so however you cannot use company funds to do so.

How can I update my forms (W-4, Name Change)?
Login to TalentEd Records (TalentEd Login), click on “Available Forms" on the left hand side of the page, then click on the form that you need to update. Additional directions can be found on the Skyward/TalentEd Guide.
I recently received a new degree or certification. How do I submit this information to HR?
Login to TalentEd Records (TalentEd Login), click on “Available Forms" on the left hand side of the page, then click on the form that you need to update. You have the ability to upload transcripts, certifications, and service records from previous districts for HR review.
What if I don’t know my login for TalentEd Records?
Send an email request to HR@ResponsiveEd.com.
How can I update my address?
Log in to Skyward and follow this path:
Employee Information > Personal Information > Address > Request Changes.

How can I request a transfer?
Apply for a position on the RES Careers website and fill out the Transfer Request Form in TalentEd Records to start the transfer process. To access the Transfer Request Form, login to TalentEd Records (TalentEd Login), click on “Available Forms" on the left hand side of the page, then click on the Transfer Request Form.
How many sick days do I earn each year?
5 days (prorated, based on your start date)
When can I sell back my sick leave?
The first full week of September. Paid at a rate of $75 per day.
Am I able to use sick leave when I am not sick?
Sick leave days must be used for personal or family illness.
How many leave days do I receive for bereavement?
3 days per occurrence.
Am I required to use my personal leave for jury duty?
No, you will not be deducted leave to attend jury duty.
How do I get a copy of the ResponsiveEd Employee Handbook?
ResponsiveEd Employee Handbooks are located digitally on ResponsiveEd.com. ResponsiveEd does not offer physical copies of the Handbook.
Does ResponsiveEd accept state leave days (personal or sick) from other districts?

Can I make changes to my elections or coverage levels?
You can make changes during open enrollment or if you experience a qualifying life event. You must notify the benefits department within 30 days of the qualified life event.
What’s a “Qualified Life Event?”
It’s a life event resulting in a change in your family members (dependent birth, adoption, marriage, divorce, death of a spouse or covered child); change in employment; or loss/gain of health insurance.
How can I find out if my medical provider is in‐network?
Log on at www.bcbstx.com/trsactivecare/doctors-and-hospitals for BCBS ActiveCare and log on at www.trs.texas.gov/Pages/healthcare_activecare_hmos.aspx for Blue Essentials HMO (West/South TX) and Baylor Scott & White HMO (North/Central TX).
If I elect an HMO plan or the ActiveCare SELECT plan can I use an Out-of-Network provider?
No. The use of an out-of-network provider is limited for true emergency room visits only.
Can I enroll in the other benefits without enrolling in the medical plan?
Yes. You can choose to enroll in any of the other benefits.
What happens to my medical, dental and vision coverage if I end my employment with ResponsiveEd?
Your coverage will end on the last day of the month you end employment. You will be provided an opportunity to continue coverage through COBRA.
What happens when I am injured at work?
Report the injury to your supervisor and/or campus director as soon as possible. They will assist you in completing an incident report and sign an acknowledgement form.
If I have to miss work due to a workers’ comp injury do I still get paid?
Workers’ comp only assists in paying lost wages when an employee has been off work one week or more with a doctor’s note. You will be required to use your sick time to pay for time missed not paid by workers’ comp.
What is the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)?
The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is an unpaid, job-protected leave for an employee who needs to take leave from work for up to 12 weeks. Employee must meet certain requirements to be eligible for FMLA. Generally, employees are required to use accumulated sick or vacation time for FMLA. Contact your benefits team for additional information or refer to the Employee Handbook.
