Streamline offers you a number of different ways to create reservation.
The Tapechart is probably the most utilized of all the booking engines.
1. Locate the unit you wish to reserve, using existing filter options, adding Amenities for filtering, or just enter the unit name at the top of the list and select Go
2. Click on the first day of the reservation and then click on the last day of the reservation, this will open a new booking window
3. From here you can Make, Modify, or Email quote from here
4. Click on Make Reservation
5. Edit if needed
6. Click on Existing Client Lookup, if they have stayed with you before their information will auto fill once selected
7. If it's a new guest, enter in their information (some fields are required *)
8. Click on Make a Reservation
Quick Book is a great option when it's a guest who already knows their dates and the unit they want to book.
1. Select the reservations Start and End dates
2. Use filter options on the right to select the unit or sort units by applicable filters
3. Click Update Available Units
4. Click on the unit the guest wishes to book
5. Click on Existing Client Lookup, if they have stayed with you before their information will auto fill once selected
7. If it's a new guest, enter in their information (some fields are required *)
8. Select Make a Reservation at the bottom
a. You also have the option to Hold Reservation, this will create a hold, blocking out the dates
How do you cancel a reservation and make it show on the tapechart?
1. Navigate to Find Reservation
2. Click on the reservation you would like to cancel
3. Click Cancel on the control panel to the left
4. Select a disbursement option:
a. Select Disburse money now to immediately disburse any funds
b. Do you want to send Official Cancellation Confirmation: will automatically send the guest an email that the reservation has been canceled.
c. Do you want to show this cancellation on the tape chart?- Select Show Cancellation
When selected the reservation will show on the tape chart as a clear grey bar. Helpful to identify:
· Funds are being held on a reservation until the home is rebooked by another guest
· Homes that might be a priority to book so the guest can be refund
· Serve as a reminder that the reservation still has funds that have not been refunded to the guest or distributed to the property manager and/or owner.
5. You are required to enter Cancellation Reason. These will show within the reservation under the Communication -> Res Notes section and will show on the Cancellation Report.
For this to work, set to Yes: Tools>Configuration Settings>Company Variable Settings> Tapechart: Enable Tape Chart Notes
6. Type your password into the Password field
7. Click Cancel Reservation
1. Navigate to Find Reservation
2 .Search for the reservation and open it by clicking the reservation number or guest name
3. Navigate to the History tab
4. Under the Price Total column, click into the blue hyperlink amount that you would like to restore
5. Select Restore Reservation
6. Select Complete Process
