The Airbnb Status Report can be found under 'Reports' and is one of your gateways into your Airbnb account.
The report has been around for a long time, but starting with our Hedgehog release, we are giving super users back the ability to 'On Demand Sync' with Airbnb, allowing you to make a change in Streamline, then push On Demand Sync, to see the change quickly on Airbnb
The report has eight columns
Last sync. error
This tells you the last error the property had, that is causing it to not sync with Airbnb. If there is a message here, search our KB to find the way to solve it, because the property is NOT on Airbnb.
Status
This tells you the current status of the property on Airbnb. If it says anything other than 'approved', it means the property isn't on Airbnb, and there is some action either in Streamline (Last sync. error) or Airbnb (Information in Notes) that you need to take care of.
Notes
Notes are usually from Airbnb, and signify that although there isn't an error with the property, there is some action needed on your side, such as registering the property with the city. Airbnb should have more information about these, if there is no link. You can also sign into your Airbnb account and go to https://www.airbnb.com/hosting/listings and see if there is any information about the property that you need to do to list it.
If a property has a 'last sync. error', status is NOT 'approved' or there is a 'note', that property is not on Airbnb! Our knowledge base should be able to help you resolve the issue!
Listing Name
This is the 'Home Name' in Streamline for the unit. You can click it to open the property.
Listing Id
This is the 'Airbnb Listing ID' and you can click on this link to open to the Airbnb property page for the unit.
Synchronization Category
Values are sync_all which syncs ALL content and rates and availability to Airbnb,
sync_rates_and_availability which ONLY syncs rates, availability and taxes and fees (ALL other content including photos and guest counts will be managed by Airbnb), and
sync_undecided which means the property has connected to Airbnb, but doesn't know which sync setting to choose, or if the property should be linked to an Airbnb property. This status means the property is NOT live and active on Airbnb, so resolve it ASAP!
You can resolve sync_undecided this by either going to Distribution Channel Settings in the unit in Streamline and setting an Airbnb sync category, or by going to Airbnb here https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/sync/map_listings and choosing how you want the propertie(s) to be connected!
Synchronization Frequency
This is how often Airbnb reviews your property data for changes in content. By default, this is hourly. So, every hour, Airbnb will review your property content for changes. You can override this and push the most recent version of the property yourself by using the button On Demand Sync located next to this column
Actions
This column features the return of the On Demand Sync option and a new action, Force Delete.
When you click On Demand Sync, the system will post the current setup of the property to Airbnb. So if you've made any changes to any settings, this is how you can force them to change quicker on Airbnb. However, as stated above, all changes to content will be updated within an hour of changing them on Streamline, so there isn't always a reason to do this.
If you see the option Force Delete, the Airbnb Property code for this property (located in the property codes tab of the unit and in the Airbnb Wizard) is connected to a property on Airbnb that has been deleted. Deleted properties can only be reenabled by Airbnb. You will need to contact their support to restore a property like this.
We recommend you click on the Force Delete button, check to ensure the property doesn't have a property code value, and then create the property as new using the Airbnb Onboard Wizard.
