How do I edit/customize my Folio documents?
To edit the contents of a document, go to Communication> Manage Documents and then click the blue link next to the document you wish to edit (Editor column )
The editor contains most functions found in other word editors and uses universal symbols to label these functions that make them easy to identify
1. Change the color of your font
2. Highlight your font in a color of your choice
3. View the HTML source code for this document (Advanced Users). Click source first to paste html into the document
4. Create tables in your document
5. Add images to your document, such as logos, etc.
An image only needs to be uploaded one time and then it will always be available to use across multiple documents
To upload images, click on the [Upload] tab
Click Choose File, select the file you wish to upload in your file Navigation and then click [Send to Server]
To see images already uploaded select the [Image Info] tab and then select [Browser Server] to locate the image
Use the width or height to customize the size for use in the Document
To insert an image stored on a website, go to the [Link] tab and enter the URL field
6. Create a hyperlink. To use it, highlight the text that you want to turn into a hyperlink and then click the hyperlink button
7. You can paste text from Microsoft Word. This will maintain most of the text’s formatting when it is pasted
8. Paste text from any other source- This will strip the text of its formatting
Pasting formatted text into the editor can cause serious issues with your documents when the formatting gets converted into HTML
