Pink Shirt Day is an annual event aimed at raising awareness about bullying prevention. Participants wear pink shirts to symbolize their stand against bullying and promote a culture of kindness and acceptance. The event encourages discussions in schools, workplaces, and communities about the impact of bullying, the importance of respecting others, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
GNS will celebrate Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday, February 25, 2026
Our 2026 Pink Shirt Day design is a bold and heartfelt celebration of what it means to be part of the GNS community. Set against a vibrant pink backdrop, the artwork brings our five Core Values—Truth, Courage, Caring, Individuality, and Community—together in a dynamic, hand-lettered composition.
Shirts are available in adult sizes S-XXXL and youth sizes S-L.
Orders must be placed in advance between Wednesday January 21 - Monday February 1st.
Shirts will be available for pickup during the week of February 16th at both campuses.
The GNS core values of truth, courage, caring, individuality, and community align closely with Pink Shirt Day's anti-bullying ethos. At the centre, Caring stands out as the largest word, intentionally placed to reflect its role as the foundation of belonging, kindness, and empathy. Flowing around it, Truth and Courage remind us to speak honestly and stand up for what is right, even when it’s difficult. Individuality celebrates the uniqueness of every learner, voice, and perspective, while Community anchors the design, reinforcing that we are strongest when we support one another.
