When engaging in Graphic Design work, paying attention to details is incredibly important, no matter how small they may seem. Companies have had many costly and reputation damaging situations arise from bad design choices.

The purpose of this assignment is to continue teaching you how to use graphic design software and to help you focus on the importance of small details in your work.

10 Changes Project Summary

For this assignment, you will take a regular image from around the GNS Campus. You can take it yourself, or you can download something from GNS Social Media. Please be mindful that if you are taking photos that include students, you need to request their consent beforehand. You will then use a graphic editing tool like Photoshop or PixlR to make 10 edits or changes to your photo.

You will post both images (original one and your new edited photo) to your Google Site Portfolio and embed a Google Survey for people to respond by identifying all 10 changes you have made. Please see the example below to see how it should look.

Overview of the Project Requirements

  1. Take a photo from around GNS

  2. Choose a graphic editing software

  3. Make 10 changes to your photo and save it as a new image

  4. Post both the original photo and your new edited version to your Google Site Portfolio

  5. Create a Google Survey to see if people can identify all 10 changes, embed that under your two images
