How do I add a teacher to a class?

You will need the teacher's email address and the CourseID number which you can get from the gsfeCls page. Open the gsfeTchrs page. Insert a new row enter the CourseID number and the teacher's email address in the appropriate columns of the new row. Add a Y in column H.

Open the sidebar - go to the Students and Teachers data section click on Add teachers. The Y will be replaced by a message telling you the teacher has been added.

You will need the student's email address and the CourseID number which you can get from the gsfeCls page. Open the gsfeStdntspage. Insert a new row. Enter the CourseID number and the student's email address in the appropriate columns of the new row. Add a Y in column F.

How do I transfer ownership of a class to a new teacher?

On the gsfeCls page enter the email address of the new owner in column K for that class. Enter a Y in column B for that row. In the Classroom Manager sidebar, on the classes section, click on update. The new teacher will become the owner. The old owner will become a co-teacher of the class. The Y will be replaced by a message telling you that the class has been transferred or with an error message if there is a problem. You can transfer more than one class at a time.

How do I create a new class?

You will need the teacher's email address and a name for the new class. Open teh gsfeCls page. Insert a new row. Add the class name and the owner's name in the appropriate columns. Open the Classroom Manager sidebar on the classes section click on Add. The program will work through the sheet and create new classes where there is a class name and an owner email but no class id.
