1) The word "exoplanet" refers to a planet that is outside of the solar system that earth orbits. I think that the ancient greeks coined the term planet and it is believed that it translates to "wanderer" because planets change their position in the night sky relative to other stars. So an exoplanet is essentially a celestial mass that orbits a star other than the sun.
2) There are so many exoplanets in the universe it is difficult to chose just one. However, I do have a favorite. It is called HD 189733b and orbits the star known as HD 189733. It is located approximately 63 light years away from Earth. It is also known as the "blue marble" because of its cobalt blue appearance. Scientists theorize that it rains molten glass on it. Yeah.
3) Since the nearest star with the nearest star with the nearest planets is Proxima Centauri, which is I think like 4-5 light years away, it would take at least 80,000 years to get there with out technology. So I doubt we'll get there anytime soon.
4) The Voyager 1, which was launched about 50 years ago, is the farthest man-made object from Earth. I looked it up and its like 12 billion miles away or something like that.
5)The main obstacles for humans would be basically the time it takes to get there and the resources to support humans living is space. In addition to time, space can be a dangerous place for astronauts because of it is a low gravity environment and cosmic radiation is present.
