Today, most of the population relies on the internet to perform daily tasks, and much of our personal information is present online, most prevalent on social media platforms.
Social media giants such as Facebook or twitter have expanded in recent years by publishing ads on their platforms and tailoring them to particular customers.
But recently, consumers have begun to question these companies' use of customer information that they have access to and the ethics behind the sharing and selling of "personal" information over the web.
