Rachel Wiles, 18 years old, will be attending the University of Florida for Business Communications and Public Relations. While her major has nothing really to do with music, Rachel has always had a "passion" for music in any form. She decided to write about the music industry because it is very important to understand all factors that may influence this generation, especially concerning issues and movements as relevant as Black Lives Matter. Over the years, Rachel has become fairly well versed in many different music genres from pop, to musical theater, to country, and to rap. Rap being one of her favorites, she decided to look closer into the stories behind the music to uncover the influence they may have on listeners and other fans.
