My video shows different facts and article summaries that explain why digital privacy is such a big deal and why people should care about it. I used images and video clips from different news stations. I have background music and transitions that move the pictures along.

I chose the right to privacy as my human right because this right values personal data. People should not open your letters or search your home or phone without a warrant. I chose this right because I think it’s very important. I always wondered how people thought about this subject and how much they cared about what they believed in. In today's day and age, it is becoming even more important, what with people using the internet, their phone, Alexa, or social media to do basically everything. Our internet histories and what we are interested in are constantly being analysed. Companies and sites are using our information, like what we say, search, and buy, to show us things that we would like. We are trading privacy for convenience and comfort, and the risk is that our privacy can be used against us in the future. The things that we post or search will come up later in our life. I think police and other government officials should have to have a warrant to search people's phones or online data. This piece shows how people should have a right to digital privacy.

In my video, I include news headlines and important statements that go along with digital privacy. I also included news videos and pictures of news articles so that people get a better understanding of why digital privacy is so important.
