Always On the Move:
Stories of Human Migration
In this project, we'll explore the complex history of human migration from the earliest days to the present. We'll discover real stories of migration to deepen our understanding of contemporary push/pull factors while also tracing historical patterns across time. Along the way, students will gain a more nuanced understanding of the history of human movement, while evaluating today’s pressing migration challenges. Students will have an opportunity to interview someone with close ties to the issues we study to add to our oral history collection, “Always on the Move.”
This is a collage of me and my grandma because she is the one I interviewed.
