Welcome! Thank you for coming. The purpose of this conference is to show you what we are learning about and how the start of 6th grade is going. 6th grade is going wonderful, it's fun and active. Middle school is different from elementary school because you have homework and the work is a little bit harder but they are both really fun.  

I have grown in my math and science skills. We have learned about people and how they adapted to the climates of their region, geology, ratios, and so much more! I will talk about those later. I hope you enjoy my POL/DP!

6th grade lens: Confidence

My definition of confidence is that confidence is believing in yourself. How is your confidence going into 6th grade? I think that I am the most confident in science but if I'm being honest I am not too confident in my math skills. Between humanities and ELA I think that my confidence is about the same for those. My math confidence is the lowest because I don't feel that i’m the best at math because I haven't gotten all of my math facts down yet.
