For this exhibition we where tasked with learning about the Columbian Exchange and baking a cake with ingredients from the exchange. I am probably the most proud of the cake because the recipe was a hard one, It might have seemed simple at first glance but once you started to mix the ingredients you would notice that there was a LOT of flour compaired to other ingredients in the cake. The hardest part of the exhibition was probably...making the cake. I was so scared that the cake would not work because of past attempts with the recipe the cake didn't work out, either the cake tasted too floury or was not cooked enough. In the end the cake worked! the habit of heart and mind that I conected with the most during this project was probably Refinement, because I had to refine my recipe a couple times for it to finaly work.
