Monitoring and evaluation the progress of the action plan is crucially needed in order to help ensure that the targets outlined in the action plan are being properly addresses and achieved. Besides providing feedback about the effectiveness if the actions, monitoring allows the Eco-Schools committee to critically evaluate the strategy adopted and identify possible alternative ways of proceeding.
Green Squads are divided into several small groups and each group is responsible for monitoring the progress of their respective projects. A teacher advisor is appointed as the project supervisor to monitor and assist in the success of the project. In addition, each group should record the monitoring activities carried out in a logbook given.

Pictures are evidence of a process. Therefore, teachers and students will take pictures of their respective projects as proof of monitoring and evaluating carried out. Pictures taken will be saved by the documentation section for documentation work.

Questionnaire and survey form are conducted from time to time to find out the development and success of a project.
Biodiversity awareness form was conducted on students before and after the project was carried out and the result was shared and discussed in a meeting.
Questionnaires on the level of satisfaction with school projects are also conducted through google form so that improvements can be carried out again

Interview to classmates and school community on the level of satisfaction and improvement projects are carried out so that improvement can be done if necessary.
we can not examine a learning process without hands on activities. Therefore, students are always given the opportunity to try something new to gain new experiences which they cannot get from the text book.
log books are prepared by the green squad to record, monitor, evaluate and document all projects and activities that have been carried out. log books are monitored and guided by teachers. Students are divided into groups and every members in the group are responsible for one project in the action plan.
After gathered all the data and information needed, photograph and results of discussion, the Green Squads will need to go through and evaluate the aims of the action plan and needs to decide on:
is the plan successful?
is this method working?
is it still achievable with all the changes happening in school?
what new actions need to be taken to address emerging needs?
Eco-schools is a whole school project and, therefore, the results of the monitoring and evaluation exercise are shared with the whole Eco-schools community through various method, such as:
