Report on Ice Breaking Session
by Maria Bella, Assistant Networking Manager
On 17 October 2020, there was an ice breaking session between SMK Convent Pulau Tikus and Caroline Chisholm Catholic College. It was a wonderful experience.
At first, I thought that it would be a formal and serious session. The kind where humour is considered inappropriate, which is basically my biggest fears. Apart from frogs... they're nasty. But turns out, I was very wrong. We had a great time! Besides eco-school programme, we also talked about our idols such as k-pop groups, our favourite actors, our hobbies and many others. I could literally make a list about it! Everybody was kind and and easy-going. I made a lot of new friends through this session.
When I rethink about this beautiful moment, I realized what fascinating things that nature can do. To us, making friends is something normal anyone can do but we don't realise how great it is to have new friends. Through this eco-school programme, me and people from my school are making friends with such amazing people from such an amazing country. Try imagining about the other schools that are just like us. Thousands of other school that joined this programme. Thousands of students making friend with other thousands of students.
