OPIATE AWARENESS NIGHT, DECEMBER 8TH AT 6 PM

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND PARENTS: Please join the MHS Health Education Department in the presentation of the short film, "If Only."  The film is about two young teens who fall victim to prescription medication and the responses by their parents that lead to very different outcomes.  The film is 35 minutes long, and will be followed up with a Q and A, as well as an introduction to the staff at MHS and the programs we offer to combat substance abuse and provide help to our students and their families.  The event will be held on DECEMBER 8TH AT 6:00PM IN THE HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM.  IT IS OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS.  PARENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND WITH THEIR CHILD.  Contact Jeff Osgood, Supervisor of PE, Health, FCS and Wellness for questions at jyosgood@methuen.k12.ma.us.
