Introduction to Wellness

Welcome to the first unit of our Health curriculum, Introduction to Wellness!  

This unit will introduce you to the different

components of wellness and how they work together to improve your health.  While many high school students believe that being healthy simply means eating a nutritious diet, exercising and not using drugs, the fact is that there a many other factors that make a person healthy.  We will explore these factors, as well as practice skills that improve upon each component in your own lives.
