Dear Sir/Madam,

Gender equality is the state or condition that affords women and girls, men and boys, equal enjoyment of human rights, socially valued goods, opportunities, and resources. It includes expanding freedoms and voice, improving power dynamics and relations, transforming gender roles and enhancing the overall quality of life so that males and females achieve their full potential.

लैंगिक समानता वह अवस्था या स्थिति है जो महिलाओं और लड़कियों, पुरुषों और लड़कों को मिलती है, मानव अधिकारों का समान आनंद, सामाजिक रूप से मूल्यवान सामान, अवसर और संसाधन। इसमें स्वतंत्रता और आवाज का विस्तार करना, शक्ति की गतिशीलता और संबंधों में सुधार करना, लिंग भूमिकाओं को बदलना और समग्र गुणवत्ता को बढ़ाना शामिल है जीवन की ताकि पुरुषों और महिलाओं को उनकी पूरी क्षमता प्राप्त हो।

Social inclusion seeks to address inequality and/or exclusion of vulnerable populations by improving terms of participation in society and enhancing opportunities, access to resources, voice and respect for human rights. It seeks to promote empowerment and advance peaceful and inclusive societies and institutions.

सामाजिक समावेशन समाज में भागीदारी की शर्तों में सुधार और अवसरों में वृद्धि, संसाधनों तक पहुंच, आवाज़ और मानवाधिकारों के लिए सम्मान द्वारा असमानता और / या असुरक्षित आबादी को हटाने का प्रयास करता है। यह सशक्तिकरण को बढ़ावा देने और शांतिपूर्ण और समावेशी समाजों और संस्थानों को आगे बढ़ाने का प्रयास करता है।

Women and girls with disabilities are subjected to multiple layers of discrimination. Based on their gender and disability status they often face “double discrimination”.

विकलांग महिलाओं और लड़कियों को भेदभाव की कई परतों के अधीन किया जाता है। उनके लिंग और विकलांगता की स्थिति के आधार पर वे अक्सर "दोहरे भेदभाव" का सामना करते हैं

This inequality is also exacerbated for women and girls with disabilities who are members of marginalized ethnic or racial groups or part of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex community.
