दिव्यंगता के परिप्रेक्ष्य मैं राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020

Dear Sir/Madam,

India has adopted the global education development agenda and its Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4) in the year 2015. SDG-4 seeks to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” by 2030.

National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020) attributes significant emphasis on the development of the creative potential of each individual including students with disabilities. It is based on the principle that education must develop not only cognitive capacities - both the ‘foundational capacities ’of literacy and numeracy and ‘higher-order’ cognitive capacities, such as critical thinking and problem-solving – but also social, ethical, and emotional capacities and dispositions.

भारत ने वर्ष 2015 में वैश्विक शिक्षा विकास एजेंडा और इसके सतत विकास लक्ष्य 4 (SDG-4) को अपनाया है। SDG-4 2030 तक "समावेशी और न्यायसंगत गुणवत्ता की शिक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और सभी के लिए सतत सीखने के अवसरों को बढ़ावा देने" का प्रयास करता है।

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 (NEP-2020) दिव्यंगता वाले छात्रों सहित प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की रचनात्मक क्षमता के विकास पर महत्वपूर्ण जोर देती है। इस नीति में शिक्षा को न केवल साक्षरता और संख्यात्मकता की 'मूलभूत क्षमता' के विकास के लिए बनाया गया है बल्कि संज्ञानात्मक क्षमताओं के विकास को सिद्धांतीक आधार रखा है, जैसे महत्वपूर्ण सोच और समस्या-समाधान - सामाजिक, नैतिक और भावनात्मक क्षमता और विकास।
