Artworks! is an afterschool program that is an opportunity for students interested in learning more about art outside of school. This program is put on by Art Education students at the University of Maine in Orono Maine who are learning to be teachers by making lesson plans and accommodations for real-life students.

What we've done
What we've done
Our class has learned to create and plan out multiple lessons in a changing environment. We have all come together to support and help one another, give each other ideas and create welcoming classrooms for our students. Some of our teachers have had very limited work experience with students and this program really helps strengthen our classroom management and quick thinking skills.
