Pita Pizzas - Inaara Peermohammed, '23

Background

Super simple, quick, and classic meal that will fulfill your pizza craving and is super cheap. Pita breads are also literally so versatile and can be used for sandwiches or eaten straight up with hummus!

Equipment

    • Baking sheet

    • Aluminum foil

Ingredients

  • Pita breads

  • Pesto

  • Mozzarella

  • Mushrooms

  • Sun-dried tomatoes

Instructions

1) Warm your pita in your preheating oven and set temp at 400 degrees Fahrenheit

2) Once warm to the touch, take out of oven and place on aluminum foil

3) Add your pesto sauce and top with mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and cheese of choice (ex. mozzarella)

4) Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbling
