Wyoming is bordered by Montana in the the north; Montana, Idaho and Utah in the west; and Nebraska and South Dakota in the east. It can be divided into three regions. The Great Plains spread across the eastern part of the state, and is covered with shrubs and short grasses. This region also contains the black hills, where the Devils Tower National Monument stands. ( fun fact: that was the first national monument ) the Rocky Mountain ranges run. North to sound across most of the state. Grand Felton national park is here, and so is Yellowstone.
