ORAL PRESENTATIONS – Famous People

- Individual presentations

- Create a PowerPoint presentation or use prezi.com to introduce a famous person (see list below).

- Use this site.

- Your presentation must be at least 2'30 minute-long, display pictures and only headlines, dates or vocabulary on each slide. (-2 points)

- You will have to explain why they are famous and what is important to know about them. /5 points

Please avoid useless comments like “he went to Harvard and studied law for three years, then he got married to Anna Hardy in 1894, they had 5 children. One of them died in 1912...”

- The last slide of your presentation will contain questions (5 minimum) for the class, so you can make sure they listened to you and are able to answer the questions. / 5 points
