DAY 1
Discovering Poland...!
Today was the first day at J. Lompi school in Wozniki, Poland. We have enjoyed different welcome events performed by students: dancing, singing...
After tasting an incredible polish meal, we have worked on the project. Each school has shown some group dynamics to prevent sedentary lifestyle and promote healthy habits.
In the afternoon, we have walked around the village and we have met each other.
DAY 2
Poland Treasures
Today was a different day at J. Lompi school in Wozniki, Poland.
First we travelled to Katewice, where we visited a Slaski Museum. After visiting the museum, we have enjoyed an amazing meal with our college of different countries.
Then we went to visit a silver mine next to Wozniki. We have learned a lot of this job.
We spent our free time visiting the Jasna Gora Monastery dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and one of countries places Pilgrimage. The image of "Black Madonna" is one of Jasna Gora´s most precious treasures. This monastery was founded in 1382.
DAY 3
SPORTS AND FUN
The third day at J. Lompi school in Wozniki, Poland was dedicated to sport.
First, we have played different types of sports with the students. They have organized a competition where all the students should do some challenges related to basketball, table tennis, athletics, etc.
After the sport competition, we have lunch at school with the teachers from other countries and some students.
In the afternoon, we have visited a local farm called Pliczko. It was really interesting because we learned a lot about oil, seeds, pasta, flour and other kind of healthy products.
DAY 4
Poland Castles and traditions.
During the morning, we have visited some incredibles castles near Wozniki. They were amazing. One of them was even a park with plenty of activities to spend the day in family.
After these visits, we went to a cultural centre in the village to do a traditional workshop, "Macrame". It was quite interesting!
DAY 5
The end of the project
Today was our last day in Poland and the last day of our project. We have gone to the Town Hall of Wozniki where we were able to talk to the Major and share the experiences lived in this wonderful country. In the afternoon, we enjoyed an incredible traditional Polish dinner with all the partners.
It has been an wonderful experience, we hope to see our partners again!
