21ST OF MARCH

WELCOME EVENTS AT DIVINA PASTORA SCHOOL

We enjoyed with teachers from Italy, Romania, Poland and Turkey our traditional dances and regional folklore.

Then, Cristina and some students from 4th and 6th grade of Primary Education and the after school club of “Camara, action” prepared a performance. It is entitled: “The butterfly and the little flower”. Throughout the play they will emphasize the importance of keeping balance and harmony among the different elements in nature: the sun, the rain, the wind, the clouds and the earth.

We continue with a song that we all know. The students of 6th grade of primary will sing “Let it be” by John Lenon.

Before our morning break, Iria Lolo, from 3rd grade of Secondary Education has offered herself to sing “Rise up” by Andra Day. With this song we send our support to the many people around the globe who are suffering the horror of war.

Then we had a chocolate with “churros”. We shared it with some parents, the traditional dancers and the standard bearers or pendoneros.

After that, we had gone for a tour to the classes of Infant Education. They were really excited about this international visit. Each class prepared something related to a country.
