We use our house system to motivate, encourage, reward and celebrate achievement in a positive and fair manner. We have six houses that provide both a sense of community and a healthy sense of competition for every student, from Year 7 through to Year 11.
Throughout the academic year, our houses compete for the coveted 'House Trophy' by earning housepoints for a wide variety of achievements. Housepoints are awarded for displaying our school values both in and out of lessons. In addition to this, many students earn a significant number of housepoints for their contribution to the wider school community by taking part in extracurricular activities.
We also have regular house competitions where students are awarded housepoints for taking part.
Individual student housepoints build up to Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby, Diamond and Platinum awards, for which students receive a personalised certificate.
