LAB16

"I am extremely proud to join LAB as the Assistant Principal with responsibility for setting up LAB16. As a Blackheath resident, and a parent of two school-age children, I want LAB to be a thriving, successful Academy that enables young people from the local community to have a bright future. Turning this wish into reality is a daunting but exciting challenge that I am thrilled to be a part of. As an educator I have worked locally for a long time – I was Head of History and Head of Humanities at Prendergast Ladywell School in Lewisham for eight years – and have recently spent a year at another IB World School in Kent as an Assistant Principal. Coming from this background, I feel that LAB is a natural home for me and I am very much looking forward to getting started and meeting the LAB community in September."
