Review the Host Manual.
Advisor must take training (live or virtual) - For the Host Training Schedule, log into https://virtuosomeetings.virtuoso.com/LearningEvents/VirtuosoVoyages.aspx
If Spouse participates, spouse has to do the training
Once training is complete, advisor figures out the voyages they’d like to host by:
Having sold a lot of a particular cruise line (this helps the candidate), OR
Read through available cruises to host that advisor is interested in and/or able to sell, OR
Read through list of sailings that are last minute and in need of a host
Identify sailings, take training, make sure to list Vira Mastroianni as the manager when filling out application and upload your cruise lines training certificate.
Notify Vira and Rachel that you have submitted an application.
If chosen, be committed (except for extenuating circumstances, i.e. death in family, emergency, etc).
If chosen, you will find out 60 days prior that you’re the host.
If chosen, the host is responsible for paying port charges, taxes, airfare, incidentals, medical expenses and any other personal costs and expenses.
Arrive a day or two prior.
Training is good for 5 years.
It is expected of you to sell the cruise line.
Be social & engaging.
Great opportunity to try different cruise lines.
It is imperative that you register your client for Virtuoso Voyages, even if they are not participating in the Voyages excursion. You can do this on the Virtuoso website at www.Virtuoso.com under the Advisor Tools tab, under Manage Virtuoso Voyages Registrations. You can also register them by searching for the cruise and then going to the Virtuoso Voyages information page. Once you complete your Virtuoso Voyages registration, you will receive an email of submission. 30 days before the sailing, you will receive the confirmation email from the Virtuoso Voyages manager.
