VPN Information
We have a premium subscription to Hotspot Shield VPN, available to all employees through our Dashlane account. Using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) helps protect your online activity by encrypting your internet connection, keeping sensitive company and client information secure—especially when working remotely or using public Wi-Fi. By connecting through Hotspot Shield, you ensure that your data is transmitted safely, your IP address remains private, and potential cyber threats are minimized. Please use this VPN whenever accessing company systems or handling confidential information while using an unsecure network.
To activate and download the VPN:
Log into Dashlane
On the lefthand side menu, click "VPN"
Click the checkbox stating "I agree to Hotspot Shield's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy"
Select "Activate Account"
Once your account is activated, you will have access to your login credentials for Hotspot Shield
Install the Hotspot Shield app on your device
Once the app is installed, open the app and navigate to the Login page
Log in with the credentials provided within the VPN tab of Dashlane in order to take advantage of the Premium Subscription
Click the "power" button to connect to the VPN
Congrats! You are now connected to the VPN.
To disconnect the VPN, click on the "stop" button at the bottom of the screen.
