“Social Activities Club” was established for our students who do not eat food orally. Students attend the club while their classmates dine in the cafeteria. They get to meet and interact with students from other classrooms. Teaching Assistants volunteer to be SAC LEADERS. They lead the students in activities such as art, music, games, technology, and sports. Other staff is assigned to help our SAC groups, including therapists, who provide sessions during this time. SAC students have also enjoyed special events presented by members of our community. The club has a designated bulletin board to display art work. The students seem to enjoy having a club to participate in while their classmates eat lunch. SAC will celebrate 20 years in November 2023!
