How to upload data?

1. To access the upload features and functionality, users must begin at the main Actions page of their customer account


2. From Customer Actions page, click on MANAGE STATIC DATA icon to perform data management tasks.

3. You are now in the Manage Static Data section. This page displays the Static Data Table.

4. To upload data press the Add New Static Data Button at the top of the page

5. Add Static Data Form Appears. Select the dataset type (learn what the options are here) and the File Source.

If web data sources have been added then you can choose files stored on your cloud data storage systems.

Alternatively files can be uploaded from your local drive or network. To begin this upload, just press Save.

6. Before pressing save, the application allows users to Filter the data, Map variables within the data or to import a random percentage of the data (useful for sampling very large data sets). Users can also add tags to the data - to help the search for them once they are uploaded into the application. Learn more about these features here:

Once you press save, the file(s) you have selected will appear in the Static Data table and have the status VALIDATING, once they are uploaded they will be given the status PROVISIONED. At this point all available actions for these data sets can be accessed from the file actions.
