How To Merge Static Data Files?
The Merge Icon presents a new page that allows users to select how they want to merge different files as well as which files to merge. The most used feature in this view will be the Merge Without Processing function. This option creates a new file that contains all the rows of data that were in the selected file list.
Users have to enter a name for the data set they are producing.
Users must also select how they want the files to be merged,. Most of the time select the third option as this is a simple merge of data.
Users then click the data sets in the "Available List" to add them to their Selected List.
Clicking the Save button will then create a new file combining all selected data sets. Click here to return to Manage Static Data page.
