Architecture

During this unit students explored the art and science of designing and constructing buildings and other structures, and evaluate the contributions of innovative architects to the field.

Our unit understandings included:

• Architecture is the art and science of designing and constructing buildings and other physical structures.

• In architectural design, form follows function.

• History, culture, technology, and environment play a role in the design of a structure.
