We are proud of the hard work your students have put into the first half of the school year! Second Quarter Report Cards will be officially open for viewing in the PowerSchool Parent Portal this coming Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 PM.

Albemarle County Public Schools provides report cards electronically to ensure you have the most up-to-date information regarding your student’s progress. Please note that report cards are not available through the PowerSchool mobile app; you must use a web browser on a computer or mobile device to view the official document.

How to Access the Parent Portal

To view your child’s grades and report card, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Portal: Navigate to the ACPS Parent Portal at sis.k12albemarle.org/public.

2. Sign In: Use the username and password you created at the start of the year.

   • If you have forgotten your password, click the "Having trouble signing in?" link on the login page.

3. Select Your Student: If you have multiple children in the district, click on the name of the child whose report card you wish to view in the top left tab.

4. Select ELEM Report Card from the sidebar.

5. Click on Grades and Attendance and then the Standards Grades tab to see progress on specific learning goals.

6. View & Print: Select the current grade level/term. The report card will generate as a PDF, which you can view on-screen or print for your records.

Need Assistance?

If you have never created a Parent Portal account or do not have your student's unique Access ID and Password, please contact our front office. For security purposes, the school must verify your identity before providing these credentials.

If you have questions about your student's scores or comments, contact their teacher.
