Return to Routine
After two weeks of winter weather disruptions, including school closures and several 2-hour delays, our Bear community is officially reclaiming its routine and normal rhythm. The transition from snow day flexibility back to our structured, early morning start has been seamless. We appreciate your patience and partnership as we navigated the shifting start times at the end of last week. We move into the remainder of the week with renewed focus and energy.
The highlight of our return was undoubtedly yesterday’s celebration of the 100th Day of School. It served as a fantastic milestone to re-engage students and faculty alike after the recent weather intervals. Our educators did an incredible job of integrating this landmark into the curriculum through creative and high-engagement activities.
With the 100-day milestone successfully reached and the winter storm behind us, we are poised for a productive and consistent days ahead. We look forward to maintaining this positive momentum as we move through the second half of the school year.
Reminder
Monday and Tuesday, February 16th and 17th are now regular school days to make up for 2 of the days schools were closed due to weather. March 19th will also be a regular school day.
As we settle back into our school routines, we are thrilled to invite all of our families to an evening dedicated to movement, mindfulness, and connection. Please join us for our Health & Wellness Night on Thursday, February 19, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
This event is designed for students across all grade levels and their families to explore the vital link between physical activity and social-emotional well-being. Whether you have thirty minutes to "pop in" or plan to stay for the duration, we look forward to seeing our community come together.

"Soup-er Bowl" Food Drive 🏈
There will be 4 boxes with the 4 NFL playoff teams at the front of the school for students to put their donations in. We’ll end our drive on Wednesday, 2/18 and announce the team who had the most donations that week.
Classes will not be assigned to any specific team; it is up to students to decide which team they want to put their donations in.
Please see the attached flyer with Loaves and Fishes donation wish list of non-perishable items to donate.
This flyer will be sent home with your student as well.
Go team!
