This is a weekly publication for Baker-Butler families. Each week's edition is published on the Home page. Previous editions are linked and titled by date.
a cozy, behind-the-scenes peek into school life with reflections and updates from Principal McCullen.
The first two days of school have been nothing short of amazing! Our students have jumped right into learning and are already doing a fantastic job mastering the classroom and school routines that help our days run smoothly and support academic success. From lining up quietly, to transitioning between activities, to showing kindness to one another, they are off to a great start.
A special thank you goes out to the families who “chalked the walk” with bright, cheerful, and welcoming messages before the first day. Your creativity and encouragement brought so many smiles and set such a positive tone for our community.
As we move forward, I am excited to see how these strong first days will carry us into a year filled with learning, growth, and joyful moments together. Thank you for your partnership in making Baker-Butler such a wonderful place for our students to learn and thrive.
Reminders about routines and procedures.
Reminder - Parents and caregivers, please ensure that there is a permanent dismissal plan on file for your child. Please contact the office or your child's teacher to update your plan.

Thank you to all drivers for moving slowly and being attentive as you move through the line! Here are a few reminders:
Arrival
All cars with students should be in the line to use the drop-off circle.
Have your student(s) ready to get out of the car by the time you enter the circle.
Adults should stay in the car. Students should exit on the curbside.
All students should enter through the main entrance, including 5th graders going to the pod.
Dismissal
Have your number on the dashboard and visible as you move through the line.
We will get quicker as we all learn the routines. Safety will always be a priority over speed. Thanks for your patience.
