July 18, 2025
This is a weekly publication for Baker-Butler families. Each week's edition is published on the Home page.
Welcome to the first edition of the 2025-26 Bear Bulletin!
Each week, you'll receive an email and/or text with a link to the Bear Bulletin website, letting you know the latest edition is live on the homepage on this website. Previous editions will be archived and linked as separate pages, so you can always revisit important updates, reminders, and celebrations throughout the year.
The Bear Bulletin is designed to keep you connected to all that’s happening at our school. Each issue will help build our school community, keep families informed, highlight student learning and classroom projects, and share important upcoming events. We’ll also include updates from our amazing PTO and opportunities to get involved in school and community events.
We’re excited to partner with you for a great year ahead!
a cozy, behind-the-scenes peek into school life with reflections and updates from Principal McCullen.

Dear Families,
Welcome to a new school year at Baker-Butler! Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, I'm so glad you're part of our Bear community. As principal, I’m excited to support a joyful, safe, and engaging learning environment where every child is known, valued, and challenged to grow.
This year, we're especially focused on building strong relationships and making school a place where children feel excited to learn and belong. We know that students thrive when school and home work together, and we’re grateful to partner with you each step of the way.
If you ever have a question, idea, or just want to say hello, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead!
With gratitude,
Nancy McCullen
Principal
Reminders & Logistics
During the first week of July we mailed arrival and dismissal information to families who were fully enrolled by June 30th. These packets included student backpack tags, dashboard tags, bus pick up cards, dismissal plan forms and instructions on how to use these. Since then, we've mailed packets as registration is completed. We are asking that everyone complete the permanent dismissal information on or before August 12th so that we are prepared on the first day of school. Complete the Permanent Dismissal Information form online by clicking here.
Supply Lists were also mailed home and can be viewed below.
